Yes, they should

Every citezen in Wales should have the right to vote regardless of their status, where they live or their ethnicity. Because someone is in prison does not mean they should be stripped away of their voting right. They’re still apart of Wales therefore should be allowed to contribute into elections. Every prisonsoner in Wales therefore should have the right to be educated on politics and what’s currently going on in our country to then make their own decision on what they want to vote for.

Why the contribution is important

Because every citezen in Wales deserves to have a right to vote.

Thanks very much for your views @AbbieCoop - if prisoners were given the right to vote, what method do you think should be used? (for example, postall vote, electronically, mobile booths in prison etc). Also, if prisoners were given the right to vote, at what address should they be registered to vote?

Honestly mobile booths in the prison would be the best way to vote. Prisoners should be registered as the prison’s address as that’s where they are ‘living’
