Paternity pay for self-employed Fathers

Employed Dad's get two weeks off to get to know thier new baby and support the mother but self-employed Dads get nothing despite paying the same amount of tax. This is unfair to those Dads and the Mothers they support in those early days.

Why the contribution is important

Dads need to bond with the new baby without big financial worries. Mum's also need support whilst recovering from child birth. Whether you are employed or self employed shouldn't make a difference in having this opportunities.
